Your skin is a reflection of what’s going on inside your body. If you don’t have a healthy diet, stay hydrated and properly care for your body 99 % of the time your skin will show it. I learned this the hard way. Growing up I didn’t eat the healthiest foods unless you think pizza and pasta is healthy lol and my skin showed it. I always blamed it on my makeup and the skincare I was using at the time but I was so WRONG. I’ve mastered how to cover blemishes with full coverage foundations and just dealt with it.

At 18 years old I started getting into fitness. As soon as I started seeing changes with my body (losing weight) I made a over all lifestyle change and turned to a plant based diet. After 2 months of following this lifestyle to lose weight and feel healthy I noticed my skin was GLOWING and clear. My foundation went on smoothly I barley had to cover blemishes. As time went on tinted moisturizer became my go to, NO MORE FULL COVERAGE FOUNDATION and looking CAKEY! WHATTT!! I was in complete shock. The saying you are what you eat IS SO TRUE. I wish I knew this sooner!

Skin care is an important step to my everyday routine morning and night but thanks to a plant based diet i don’t have to try so hard, and use as many products as I use to.
