I can’t believe I am starting my blog with this lol but I wanted to share my knowledge to help others even if it sounds crazy.

I suffer with dry skin and this winter my skin was at its worst! Redness (rosea) – dryness- acne it was in total freak out mode. I was on a mission to get my clear skin back so i went back to the basics and turned to natural remedies.

I replaced my toner with apple cider vinegar I remember this method was used to replace the skins ph balance and learned it was a acne fighter (which I will get into the benefits at the end)

The first time the acv hit my face i could feel my skin crying for help it was defiantly cleaning whatever bacteria I had built up. Beware apple cider vinegar does sting so if you have very sensitive skin dilute it! After the first 2 days it no longer stings.

After a week i started to notice a difference. I couldn’t believe how my dry skin was smooth, my redness / acne was fading before my eyes! Going back to the basics and using all natural products seemed so simple and to good to be true but it really works! WHEN IN DOUBT GO BACK TO THE BASICS LADIES .

1 month later I thrown out all my toners and I am faithfully using apple cider vinegar everyday.

Here is some of the benefits of using ACV as a toner:

1: ACV is a natural acne-fighter – antibacterial, antifungal, and antiviral substance capable of keeping bacteria at bay and pimples from forming.

2: It removes oils and helps balance skin pH, keeping your skin from becoming too oily or too dry.

How to apply:

Apply ACV using a cotton ball over clean, dry skin (no need to rinse it off) use once a day I prefer night time because the smell is strong.

You read the title right! I replaced my toner with apple cider vinegar and it was the best decision I’ve made.
